San Cristóbal de las Casas, Pueblo Mágico, emerges from the valley surrounded by mountains inhabited by the Tzoltzil and the Tzatzal people. Today, it forms a mosaic of local cultures and people from all over the world who have chosen the city as their home.

STROLL THROUGH THE HEART OF SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS
The main square is the heart of the city, which is a meeting place filled with residents passing by or relaxing on one of the many wrought iron benches. Visit the City Hall and the colorful Cathedral, painted in a sun-like yellow. The cathedral shelters in its interior golden altarpieces from the XVIII century. decorated with paintings by Miguel Cabrera. 
Explore the narrow, cobblestone streets of the traditional neighborhoods and and admire the houses painted in bright colors that are homes to quaint shops and markets. ENTER THE TEMPLE OF SANTO DOMINGO
This church is one of the maximum expressions of the Chiapas’s baroque. Its pink facade, overloaded with ornamental figures like anagrams, sirens and indigenous-made angels, is one of the most decorated facades of the Mexican viceregal art. Climb the stone staircase that leads to the Temple and the ExConvent of Santo Domingo to admire the city and the mountains on the horizon.
