Be enthralled by great treasures, vestiges of the incredible history of Teul, a "Magical Town".
Glide among the dizzying waves of the past and travel to times of Indians, monks, martyrs and heroes. Explore the spectacular temples hidden in the center of the beautiful village known as the Morada de los Dioses (Residence of Gods) and discover the stories and legends kept among their ancestral walls.

EXPLORE THE SAN JUAN BAUTISTA PARISH

The expedition begins in the temple dedicated to San Juan Bautista, an architectural jewel. Cross the pediment and walk around the square decorated with trees adding color to the stage. Old bells standing out on the neoclassical quarry facade are housed by a Neogothic tower. Admire the sober ornaments framing the door finely carved in stone and enter the temple.
Marvel at the grandeur of the chapel adorned with crystal chandeliers and a magnificent gold-plated altarpiece. Tour the place, meet its martyrs and visit the parish museum: a small space housing the historic richness of Teul.

MEET THE SANCTUARY OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE

When you leave the parish, go to the opposite alley; the sanctuary, dedicated to the dark-skinned Virgin, awaits you in the background. Be delighted by the charming gate giving way to a cool courtyard flanked by semicircular arches. Explore the beautiful details carved in the quarry of the facade, exquisitely worked, and examine the corners of the place. It is a small place, worth knowing.
