Located in the state of Sinaloa at the mouth the Sea of Cortez, Mazatlan, is known as the “Pearl of the Pacific” and it is one of Mexico's most valued resort destinations. Mazatlan is a commercial seaport and seaside vacation spot that offers visitors many activities such as: water sports, bird-watching tours, an Aquarium, a colonial downtown and tours to the Pacifico beer factory.

The city's largest convention center is the Mazatlan International Center with 3 floors and 274,000 square feet of flexible event space that holds up to 9,000 persons. Mazatlan boasts first-class infrastructure, with a number of golf courses, spas, hotels and resorts, including the Emporio Mazatlan Hotel with 134 guestrooms and suites, and two meeting rooms and two outdoor event spaces for up to 700 guests.

Mazatlan International Airport has direct flights to a number of national and international destinations including Mexico City, Houston, Vancouver, Denver and Phoenix.
